Nominating Committee News
The new church year that begins in September is rapidly approaching and we will begin accepting
nominations for church positions. Please be in prayer concerning areas where you would desire to serve,
and/or talk to one of the committee members about positions which are available.
Those serving on the committee are: Camille Stell, Kevin Letchworth,
Rick Pennington, Carol Denton, Debbie Bailey and Jennifer Kemp.

Celebrate Recovery
These sessions are held on an ongoing
basis. If you or anyone you know struggles with addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors, then
Celebrate Recovery can help! These sessions are held on Thursday evenings from 7:00 - 8:30pm.

Continue to be in prayer for our Men in Service...
Private Mark Brantley Mark is currently serving in Iraq. Mark began his 15 month
tour of duty Sept. 7, 2007. Please continue to pray for him and Charlie Company. Pray for their
safety and that God will use them in a positive way during their time there. Also, pray for his wife, Lori in NY.

Specialist John Robert Green
is now stationed at Fort Polk LA and is
there conducting training for soldiers who are being deployed to Iraq.
Prior to that, John graduated from boot camp in Dec 2005, and was then in Germany
for a short time until Feb '06 and went from there to Iraq where he spent just over a year.
John was back home for a visit from 6/15 - 7/8 before leaving for Louisiana.
Terri cherishes everyone's support & prayers and asks that you all keep praying that he
might not have to return to Iraq.
John Yokeley is a young man that had attended Bethany in the past,
and whom Phil & Peggy have kept in contact with. He has finished his tour in Iraq
and is currently stationed in Germany.
Bobby Yokeley is John's brother and is in the reserves. He will likely
be going to Iraq in April '07.
Colonel Joan Williams has
recently returned from Iraq..
Stoney Archambault is stationed in Afghanistan. He
is currently home on leave and was married to Jennifer Williams
(daughter of Mr. Stephen Williams and Colonel Joan Williams) on July 28.
He will be returning to Afghanistan after his leave.
