Mission Trip to New Mexico
Note from Phil Lott at Ft Wingate

Hi guy's,
I do hope you all had a safe trip home. First I want to thank you for allowing me to work with you on the trailer in N.M. Because of your labor of love, those kids now have a proper place to sleep. I found out just the other day some of them were sleeping in the van that was parked under the tree.

The construction team from my home church in Grenada MS came last week. They finished the sheet rock, painted the walls, ceiling, front & back doors and all window trim. Also the floor guy put down new flooring thru out the trailer.

We also fabricated 3 bunk beds, and purchased 6 mattress for the kids room. I wish you had been there when those kids saw those beds. They absolutely went wild. each one immediately picked out their bed. The girls did put the little boy, Ethan on the bottom.

As I was packing up tools getting ready to leave, Chantel, who is 9, came up to me and asked if she could tell me something. She said "Thank you for working on our trailer".

Guy's, this old man welled up and cried. That and watching them climb on those beds and slide across the floor was pay enough.

I am sending pictures, 10 in all. Please share them with the others that worked with us, and also the rest of you church.

Thanks again. Remember Jack & Jill as they continue to stay and share Jesus with the Navajo.

Phil Lott

Specialist John Robert Green is now stationed at Fort Polk LA and is there conducting training for soldiers who are being deployed to Iraq.
Prior to that, John graduated from boot camp in Dec 2005, and was then in Germany for a short time until Feb '06 and went from there to Iraq where he spent just over a year. John was back home for a visit from 6/15 - 7/8 before leaving for Louisiana. Terri cherishes everyone's support & prayers and asks that you all keep praying that he might not have to return to Iraq.

John Yokeley is a young man that had attended Bethany in the past, and whom Phil & Peggy have kept in contact with. He has finished his tour in Iraq and is currently stationed in Germany.

Bobby Yokeley is John's brother and is in the reserves. He will likely be going to Iraq in April '07.

Colonel Joan Williams has recently returned from Iraq..

Stoney Archambault is stationed in Afghanistan. He is currently home on leave and was married to Jennifer Williams (daughter of Mr. Stephen Williams and Colonel Joan Williams) on July 28. He will be returning to Afghanistan after his leave.

Thanks for supporting OUR TROOPS!!!
